We all have heard it countless of times. Always be yourself, everyone else is already taken. Life is too short to be someone esle. Believe in yourself.

Sure, I totally agree with all these cheesy quotes but they make it look so much easier than it actually is, to find out who you are. The past few months I have been searching for myself. I’ve been trying out new things. Some worked out to be amazing, others.. Not so much. Today I’d like to tell you about my change.

MUSIC

Though this doesn’t look like such an important thing, it is to me. I listen as soon as I get home from school to music. It’s a huge part of my life though I do not seem to realize that.
Because of some actor called Tyler Posey, I started listening to PopPunk. Though no one at my school would ever guess I like the genre, I am totally loving it. Bands as Neck Deep and Blink-182 are amazing!

But, I do have to say that I sometimes can get head-aches of the music too. Than I prefer to listen to the more country-ish music. And sometimes those top 2000 music hits to which you can sing along to.. Wonderful.

CURLS

I used to have straight hair that had a perfect shiny and fell perfect on my shoulders. Puberty changed that lots. My hair started to change to a super frizzy and puffy and horrible style. Years and years I did not realize this was because I brushed it.

On my trip to Salamanca my teacher told me not to brush my hair any more. And since then, I am a curly head. Not total curls, but more wave hair and I am loving it so far. It’s definitely more fitting to who I feel like I am.

NOT THE STANDARD

Clothing. The number one thing often for girls my age. Though I only find it annoying, because time over time you need to found an outfit to wear. Besides, clothes are expensive and I dislike most of the clothes in a shop.

Since I bought this shirt, I felt the need to change my fashion style. I don’t want to be one of those girls who only wears adidas and nike, has twenty Ralph Lauren Caps, only poses in the prayer squat or takes selfies with a hand covering her face as her IPhone 6+ shines in the background, who is obsessed with Drake and dark colors, has super straight hair, thick lips and loves chokers.

No. I don’t even like any of those things. No offence to people who are like that, if you like being that way than be the best version there can be but for me, it’s no option.

One problem though, I do not know where to find original clothes.

And that last one pretty much explains my last few days. My grandfather had a heart attack and I just can’t let it sink it. Somehow I feel like I’m not allowed to find distractions. I’ve cried all evening and my head-ache won’t stop. It all happened so unexpected, and I wish I could’ve said goodbye.

Cooper test at EP.

Hey guys. So today is one of those days on which I will let everything that has been on my mind out. Today the subject is cooper test or cooper run test. This is a test at which you’ll have to run for 12 minutes straight and you’ll have to run for a certain distance to get a good grade.

Well, let me explain you this. I suck. I suck at gymnatics, I suck at football, I suck at basketball. But most of all, I suck at running. I get out of breath so easily and when I run I start focussing on the sound of me breathing which even makes things harder.

But as soon as I stop running, I feel calm again. My little brother told me this means that I breath wrong, but I’m not sure whether to believe that because it sounds dorky. How could I breath incorrectly?

Anyway, I ran a distance of 1550 meters.. This is like terribly bad. It’d be rated Very Bad. For my age and gender, 1800 meters would be rated Bad (I believe) and from like 2100 meters you’d be on the right track.

But hey, like I said before. I’m going to start fitnessing so at least I’m trying to achieve something..

A Healthier Life?

If you know me in real life, you would know that I am the worst sporter. My stamina is zero point zero and until now I really hated sport. Though, at Physical Eduation we had to run for like 12 minutes, and I ended last of the whole class. This was a sign for me. I needed to change things.

So today I went to the Basic Fit with my friends. We sported for like one and a half hour and now I am dead! Though, it actually was a lot of fun and I feel really happy now. I really want to change my stamina but I also want to lose some weight.

Well, not weight but my legs are a little thick, and I want to change that so I’m going to try. My height is 5 ft. 4, or 1 meter and 65 centimeters. I weigh 54 kilogram which is like 119 pounds. This means that my BMI (Body Mass Index) is good.

Though that does not mean I’ve been healthy. I don’t sport, I sit on the couch as soon as I get out of school, until I go to bed. Yes, I walk the dog 3 times a week for 45 minutes total but that doesn’t make anything better.

So from now on, I’ll attend to this fitness school. I’m curious to know how long I will be able to keep this going. I’m now trying to question myself, why do I want this? Why do I really want this?

I want to be able to run after my friends, instead of only being able to run 30 feet. I want to be able to feel healthy, and spend my time useful.. And then I also want to eat healthier every now and then. This will be much harder because I love my fastfood. Sure, there are healthy delicious things but I’ll eat what’s quickest..

So let’s do this. A new healthy lifestyle.

I am going to Salamanca, Spain!

It is almost that time of the year again, that I will make a trip! But before my holiday to London (oh my I cannot believe I am actually going to London this summer! Even though England is so close to the Netherlands I have never been there and I’ve been wanting too for about 7 years now, haha. Anyway..) I will visit a town in Spain first!

With school I am going to visit the beautiful Salamanca! We’ll have several Spanish classes and I am positive it will be loads of fun. We’re leaving in two weeks already and we will stay in guest houses for about 5 days. Me and my friend have the guest house settled across a mall and the burger king, so I am positive we’ll survive.

I want to try the Spanish culture though, so of course I will eat tapas and such. Oh I am so excited! Unfortunately the weather won’t be it’s absolute best but I will have to deal with that. After all I’m used to sucky weather.

Sorry for this terribly short and useless post! My testweek start next week and I am freaking out because I need to catch up on loads of my homework..

My sister will turn 18 next year, and my dad brought us to the idea of going to London for a few days next year. If you know me well, you know I’ve wanted to go to London since I was like 9. Shortest Update In History!

First of all, sorry for not posting anything for the last 4 days. I’ve been kinda busy with school, since we have more than 10 tests in 5 days which is pretty stressful.

Secondly, I hate uploading these short, useless posts but I feel like it’s needed since I don’t know when my next post will be uploaded.
